Screen resolution problem after install

During the install the resolution and refresh rate of my monitor were fine(1920x1080, 144hz) after the install of the bspwm version my resolution is defulting to 1024x768. I tried a xrandr but I get the error “xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default”. Any idea on how to fix this?
My main monitor is connected through display port.
