Hello everyone,
I just installed EndeavourOS yesterday and have really enjoyed it, until it began crashing randomly. After some debugging I have found the issue to be with hardware acceleration. I turned it off both on my browser (Zen) and terminal emulator (kitty) and I haven’t crashed since. I had also experienced issues with crashes on my last distro (fedora, cinnamon), which is why I assume this is a hardware issue.
I have a Samsung Galaxy book4 pro and have had installed a second drive (Samsung 990 EVO Plus intern SSD 1TB), which is where my EndeavourOS lives.
I have checked the arch wiki and it doesn’t seem to be a known issue with my model (Keep in mind I have the none 360 version): https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Laptop/Samsung
Here are my system details and logs:
-
Hardware Probe: https://linux-hardware.org/?probe=4594659dc5

It isn’t the biggest issue in the world, as I can just turn it off, but I would like for it to work.
Thanks in advance, sincerely Roni
