RoRo's Question(s) of the Day

(post deleted by author)

I believe that this is a global problem.

If I don’t get at least 7 hours of sleep, Ro-Ro becomes a grumpy man.

Today’s Question of the Day:

What are sure-fire signs that a new movie you are watching is going to be terrible?

I have a list.

  1. People being snarky.
  2. Mean pranks.
  3. Screaming.
  4. People recommending Manjarno. (Mods pls don’t ban me)
  5. People being Pesudo Intellectuals ™
  6. Annoying toddlers.
  7. Facing hackers in a video game.

I don’t watch movies.

P.S. Remixed remake of spin-off prequel of sequel while spitting ideologies right into weak minds.

I’ve read the following advice regarding the website “Rotten Tomatoes” that has generally held up for me:

Look at both the reviewer score and the audience score:

  • High (critic) / High (audience) => probably a good movie
  • Low (critic) / Low (audience) => trash movie
  • Low (critic) / High (audience) => probably an enjoyable movie with poor “critical” appeal.
  • High (critic) / Low (audience) => Oscar bait or other trash-type movies made to appeal to critics.

Woke propaganda.

  1. Bad acting

  3. Characters where you don’t feel invested in them

Yeah, that’s a pretty sure way to tell it’s going to suck.

Both are useless. Reviewer scores are bought and paid, and audience score is mostly bots and massive voting campaigns.

The surest way to only be exposed to high quality entertainment is to never pay for it

Are cartoon movies allowed for verification by the jurisdiction here ?

While I could regret my past choices, the mistakes were all part of my growth and learning. Why regret when I can learn and optimize?

Not spending more time with my dad while he was alive and not showing more interest in his projects. We did spend quite a bit of time together (more than some sons with their dads), but it could have easily been more, since those were mostly very nice memories.

Not getting married and having kids while I was younger. I should have chased girls more in my teens and in my 20s, but I was too busy with my books and my computers. Kinda like I am now…

Not buying a bunch of crypto when it was cheap
