Roblox on Linux?

The games I mainly play are Tf2 (which runs natively), Subnautica, houseflipper, etc which run flawlessly using Proton. Switching from windows to linux was really not that hard, considering most of the games I play work out of the box.. except for roblox.

Has anyone tried running Roblox through Winboat, if so please tell me if it works. I was thinking of trying Winboat since Roblox blocked wine support. Dual booting is excessive just for one game, and I don’t feel comfortable using Sober for it being proprietary. Roblox is the only game I need help running. Thanks

If you wanna run roblox natively, look into Sober: https://sober.vinegarhq.org/#introducing-sober

It runs pretty well and has adjustable FPS locks. Runs all games that I wanted to play on it nicely too.

This may be a dumb question but can you get banned for using Sober? I was thinking of making another roblox account just to see if it works before I use my main one.

Well using that type of software has no warranty, so being banned is a possibility. IMO its very very low risk as technically its using the android port of roblox as a baseline.
