Rhythmbox refuses to open

It used to open before but suddenly decided not to work anymore.

Running it in terminal gives me the following error:

(rhythmbox:11039): Rhythmbox-CRITICAL **: 14:17:06.837: Timeout was reached

Yes, I have reinstalled it but it did NOT fix the problem.

Are you up-to-date? There was an issue with python-gobject but is now OK. Version 3.52.3-3 fixes this.

Yes, and while this did allow the app to open many of my plugins are greyed out and have an X now
