Hello
I was trying to update the system and I’ve got this message:
would you like to replace libwbclient with extra/smbclient?
I’ve looked around for some info but I did not find nothing. Do you know what does it mean?
Should I go on?
Thanx
Hello

Not sure if it has to do with the issue with Samba?
hello,samba 4.12.1-1 arrived on testing
Updating say’s would you like to replace libwbclient with extra/smbclient?
I’m not sure if it is Samba related? I just saw that and thought maybe?
thanks
just to be sure, I will wait some time before updating
If you don’t have Samba installed then it must be related to another package.
It is a samba package.

I just tried to update on KDE Plasma and said no and it would not let me update so i said yes and it updated. I do not use samba so i don’t know why it’s wanting to replace this file but i said yes anyway and updated.
What is really strange is i have KDE Plasma on two computers and they have exactly all the same applications installed yet this one didn’t ask to replace the file?
samba is a different, its smbclient
also mayby cause of that vlc has some improved stuf out there
mayby has also to do with it… is just a merge no biggie.
I just figure that it didn’t ask on one computer because they get updated at different times so not always going to be same even when has identical applications installed.
First i wanted to ask you guys, but then i decided to give it a try and updated it. Until now there is no problem.
