I want to remove the default places in Nautilus (Recent, Starred, Home, Music, etc). This has proven more difficult than you’d think it would be, and so far I have tried:
- setting
"enabled=false"in~/.config/user-dirs.conf - commenting bookmarks set in
~/.config/user-dirs.dirs - commenting bookmarks set in
/etc/xdg/user-dirs.defaults - override the ui with this method
None of them work. Surely removing these shortcuts must be possible?
