Red bars/artifacts since update

Hello,

Since the update (2 days ago?) my desktop shows for some colors red bars.

Does someone know if there is a fix for it?

I haven’t had any similar issues and it looks like you are already using Breeze as your theme. Maybe try the compositing settings (this is just a guess though)

What drivers and related packages do you have installed? Can you share the output of:

pacman -Qq | grep -E "mesa|amd|radeon|xf86"

Many thanks for the fast reply.
@smokey, you mean the latency settings, etc?

@dalto , here the output:

amd-ucode
lib32-libxxf86vm
lib32-mesa
lib32-vulkan-radeon
libxxf86vm
mesa
mesa-utils
vulkan-radeon
xf86-input-libinput
xf86-video-amdgpu
xf86-video-ati

Uninstall this package.

This is unrelated to your problem, but you probably want to install these packages for hardware accelerated video decoding:

libva-mesa-driver
mesa-vdpau

I’d listen to @dalto over me, knows a lot more on the technical side.

Found the solution through coincidence. Was changing my monitor to a different mode (color mode like SRGB, vivid, etc) to see if the colors are different and it disappeared.
I guess it was related to the cable? Not completely sure what the reason was.

Thanks again for your help and also the additional info regarding accelerated video decoding
