Question regarding permissions

Hello, I recently updated my sudo package and got a warning that permissions for the package was 750 and the current /etc/sudoers.d/ directory was 755 so my question is which would be correct? Should I change the directory permissions manually? I did a stat on the entire etc and it was 755 as well.

Welcome! :rocket:

In general it’s a good idea, i think, to keep up with permission changes on upstream (unless you manually changed permissions or settings for your own reasons and want to keep it)

So i’d say use Arch’s advice
