Question about a post removed here in the pub

I had a post removed because of " Your post was flagged as inappropriate: the community feels it is offensive, abusive, to be hateful conduct or a violation of [our community guidelines].

The post was about a joke about but at the same time wishing the Americans on the forums here a happy independence day. If someone made a joke about part of the world where I am from and still wish me a good day, I would appreciate it and laugh about it. Why is it considered “inappropriate” to joke about the past while still wishing someone a happy independence day? Or are we not allowed to use swear words in topics and replies?

This is the reason. It wasn’t the joke itself but the specific words used.

I didn’t know that, thanks!
Just a comment about one of the community guidelines points.

Keep it clean. Don’t post anything obscene or sexually explicit.

Wouldn’t it be better to add to that line “Keep it family friendly”, that would be much clearer to me as a none native English speaker.
