Thank you !! I was going crazy looking out for the solution !
Welcome Aboard!
Some may experiment an issue when an AUR package exists also as pre-compliled in another repository, as Chaotic-Aur.
I got the issue with Vorta, the gui for Borg.
The solution was:
1- Edit pacman.conf and comment out Chaotic-Aur.
2 -Run yay -S vorta
3- Clean Rebuild
4 - Edit again pacman.conf and reenable Chaotic-Aur.
Otherwise the AUR package is never selected and you don’t have a chance to make your softwate work, until it is updated in Chaotic repo.
I followed the guide on the post and most of the issues have been resolved, but my Ethernet connection is acting weird since this last update. Only some cables are detected from the motherboard ethernet port. Any ideas?
I doubt that has anything to do with Python. Have there been updates for Network Manager or whatever you use to connect via Ethernet?
How can I check which version I have install or when was the last time it got updated?
Program pahis
can help you with that.
Your motherboard has (presumably) one output via ethernet which normally would go to your router. What are you connecting to?
