So just got my laptop (Zbook Firefly G10A) back from repair. The CPU fans were refusing to spin up, thus causing it to overheat. Must have been more than JUST the fan dying, as they replaced the entire motherboard. Was testing this morning with games and stress tests, and when I closed the psensor window to run a stress test, realized I didn’t see the sensor tray. Started it back up and in the sensor settings the menu option is totally greyed out.
Is this a known issue on EOS/Arch? Is there something that’s not marked as a dependency that would allow it to work?
Not a huge issue either way, I’d love to have it be able to run in the tray again so I didn’t have to look at it constantly while it’s running, but it’s not something overly major.
