So far it just seems to be that one game that didn’t launch. You may be right about something being off though.
I got the controller working. I just needed to set the buttons in steam and save it. That allowed it to show up in the AC3. I don’t know if that is because Lutris pulled it over or if steam saves in a standard controller config file.
However, something isn’t right. I am getting horrible frame rates that makes the game unplayable. However, if I use the keyboard and mouse, the framerate seems to be much better. The game is playable. Any ideas?
There seem to be some additional issues as well. Notifications are showing up through the game and get stuck there.
I had no idea about this even after reading multiple forums. This advice saved me. One big THANK YOU. it was so frustrating to buy protonDB gold or platinum game and not able to even launch it. I registered here just because i needed to say thank you. Running dual boot with Linux mint and Windows 10. PS: Finding working driver for my GTX 950m was terrable, but i’m still glad i moved to linux. Maybe i will give EndeavourOS a chance. Once again THANK YOU.
