Problems sending computer to sleep on linux-zen-5.12.12+

Has anyone else found that they’ve been unable to put their computer to sleep since recent kernel updates? I think the problem started around kernel version 5.12.12. I’m using the Linux Zen kernel.

I’m not sure where to look for clues.

My output from inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width is:

Try the LTS kernel and report back. The latest and zen kernels can break more often than others as they are more in design. And this is an easy diagnosis that it’s not a bigger problem.

If everything works in the LTS but not zen you can:

  1. Use LTS
  2. Deal with it- it will likely be fixed soon
  3. Report the bug to the kernel developer or
  4. Become a kernel developer and fix the bug.

I suspect I may have to go for a combination of 2 & 3.
