systemd-modules-load[487]: failed to insert module “nvidia_uvm” = Invalid argument

good evening philou.

the solution to this problem is to switch into a different TTY (ctrl+alt+F3), login like normal and once again do a update.

A system core package was updated which seemingly had a bug included.

executing a simple sudo pacman -Syu should fix this problem, as above mentioned package was downgraded in the repos again. Here is the link to the post explaining this as well.

I have already done a sudo pacman -Syu and upgraded my system … 2 or 3 files were installed and I rebooted but with exactly the same result … Dont know what to do !
Thank you for your help Creatux !

You’re very welcome!
Wish you a good rest of your evening and good night for later

Exactly the same problem as mentioned …
[stuck at ”Reached target graphical interface”]

oh, my Bad. misread that

could you run journalctl -b -0 | eos-sendlog and post the link that gives you here?

I am going to try …

could be it needs to reinstall nvidia-dkms if it already built the modules in a faulty way it will not rebuild on downgrading pahole i think …

deepl:

the link seems to be this one
https://clbin.com/ELnoF

so i have to do a nvidia-dkms … I have tried to reinstall the Nvidia driver 470 but with no success with the command : nvidia-inst --series 470
! Thank a lot

???

Yer definitely not talking about BMW (they have an x3-model), AFAICT?

Not trying to “police” anything here, just not getting what you mean by x3?

I have good news … my problem is solved with the help of Joekamprad …
I made a : sudo pacman -S nvidia-470xx-dkms
and I restarted my system … Everything seems to work well now !

Thank you so much to everyone and specially to Joekamprad

(yes i know that that was meant for joe :p)

sudo pacman -Syu
sudo pacman -S nvidia-470xx-dkms
reboot
et voilà !
