Hello, new user.

I have been thinking of moving to another distro that wasnt debian based, so i chose EndeavourOS.

I flashed the iso, booted, and now the touchpad doesnt work.

Elan Tech ETD 2001 trackpad to be specific.

Everything else is detected, including wireless, except for the trackpad.

Currently using a usb mouse as a temporary solution.

Any help is appreciated, i am not too familiar with Arch, as i only used pacman in msys2 inside of Windows, and i only used Arch inside a VM.

Does the trackpad utilize Bluetooth for a connection?
If so, Bluetooth is disabled by default in EndeavourOS and will need to be enabled.

I fixed it by blacklisting the elan\_i2c module -
i.e. i added

```auto
blacklist elan_i2c
```

to the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file.
