Printing, Driver install canon-cque

The earlier version in AUR won’t work anymore. So I downloded the currently canon-driver cque and tried to execute ./setup

sh: Zeile 2: /.../cque-de-4.0-7/sicnc: Keine Berechtigung
free(): double free detected in tcache 2
Abgebrochen (Speicherabzug geschrieben)

I was already successful at manjaro.
What reason could it be “no permission”?
Without a solution, I cannot use the printer or sadly EOS.

Did you download it into your user’s home folder, or anywhere else? If you did install it in $HOME, you could try running the script with sudo ./setup.

Also, there might (or not) be more detailed installation instructions given on the Canon-Support Site (driver-download)?
