Powerdevil causes black screen (KDE Plasma)

This is an old issue I reported last October.

Powerdevil above v 6.1.5 causes black screen.

Issue is still present in EOS and cachyos. NOT present with ArcoLinux

Apparently I am the ONLY one with this issue on MY SPECIFIC hardware.

I wonder if it’s the same issue as i ran across with it being a monitor setting.

i have a set-aside EOS partition. Will have to try johnnym’s suggestion.
