aka:

tell me you are a dev, gamer, and it support at the same time without telling me you are those things.

tell me you use btrfs without telling me you use btrfs

I actually do have some unnecessary stuff.

Recently I’ve been cleaning my system a bit and uninstalling both repo and AUR packages that I wasn’t using much so here it is:

pacman -Qm

Mostly fonts, a bunch of apps, some utilities and eyecandy. I’m not that proud of still having M$ Skype on here, but I do use it to make some calls every once in a while. I might use it via browser but I’m afraid my hardened Firefox setup breaks it and when I need it I don’t have time to try to find why it does not work… so I’ll keep the package for now.

Rich

I use for most of my application flatpak, so my list is very short:

[daniel@arch-linux ~]$ sudo pacman -Qm
[sudo] password for daniel:
btrfs-assistant 1.6.3-1
game-devices-udev 0.18-1

hid-nintendo-dkms 3.2-2
mangohud 0.6.8-2

pacseek 1.7.5-1

No need for sudo. If there is no need for it, that means you should not use it. It’s a bad habit, get rid of it.

This time without sudo  sadly I had to add onlyoffice because there last version is not available as flatpak. Ok in some way it is understandable but the snap version is there.

I try to use as little as possible from the AUR.

@anon50380917
for image writer, if you are OK with flatpak you can use Fedora Image writer, works flawless, even for non fedora iso’s

and why do you need snap-pac-grub?
for the snapshots you can simply use the package grub-btrfs

This is what I understood from the instructions in the forum. So I can uninstall it?

I think yes, I use snapshots too with btrfs-assistant, and to boot to them I use grub-btrfs, so I do not have snap-pac-grub and it works.
