I have Eos on my laptop and another laptop. Works great!
Yes, I am proof that any monkey can run Arch.

Once it’s setup . . . You only stop if you want to.

Just in case anyone doesn’t know this song - This song is NSFW!!
Just read and be careful. Now there is an official installer and a shift in attitude on the forum.
The Eos forum is the easiest to drive by far.
Nice neighborhood!
Don’t know, what’s his pacman -Qm?
He doesn’t have one. He’s old. Debian stable at best. Realistically, he’s orphaned at this point and no longer relevant; if he ever was at all.

I could replace about 7-8 packages with their flatpak versions, but honestly I prefer the convenience of the AUR pkgbuilds, easier to update, etc.

That pretty much depends on which comes first in the list of repos! I can’t think of a command that makes it clear, though - only a several step process on the lists… Or, of course, human inspection for the more practical types…
Update - decide to try my luck with the Chaotic AUR so now I’m down to just three:
get_iplayer 3.29-1
perl-mojolicious 9.25-1
plasma5-applets-weather-widget-2 2.2.4.4-1
I unfortunately cannot use chaotic AUR and have to build all my AUR packages because none of them are built for aarch64.
