Not expressing any disrespect to Paraguay and parguyanos but the attitude of their football team on the field in the match with France was disgraceful. Outright ugly. If I was was the referee, I would call off the match and declare a 3-0 win for France.
Norway just set me back 10 euros. Damn! ![]()
Congrats to the Norwegian football team, anyways.

I really enjoyed how Paraguay players had the perfect timing to subterfuge all the faults they did
Good for you… I guess.
I said what I said. A disgrace for football and sport was what they did.
So Portugal were eliminated in injury time by Spain. Congrats to Spain, they were a very good side.
This is an end of CR7 and an end of an era. Feel for him. I doubt that we will see another player of similar caliber again. CR7 is a giant in his own right. His athleticism and peak performance was something to behold. 5 UCL trophies, that record is going to hold for a long time. Long Long time.
Should CR7 have been substituted in the 70th minute or after the hydration break in 2nd half to bring in Ramos, who scored the winner against Croatia? In hindsight yes, after all hindsight is always 20/20. But let us not forget that it was the heroics of the Spanish GK who denied 2 sublime chances of CR7. If any of those two chances or both of them had gone in we would be having a different conversation.
Sad to see the vitriol and bashing that CR7, Portugal and Portuguese coach are going through. IMHO it is not deserved. It is crass.
About Belgium vs USA, lets move on. It will remain a sore point.

Obnoxious traitor. His act of treason shall not be forgotten. A la masia graduate joining the team of Franco. There is going to be a severed head of a pig thrown on the pitch. AGAIN.
Having said that, CU-CU-RE-LLA has been one of the better Spanish team players.

Don’t know what you are on about here. Football? Politics? Poetry? Literature? Art?
If Football, Cucurella is undeniably one of Spain’s best players and one of the world’s best left-wing backs, if not the best.
So say after me, CU-CU-RE-LLA!

EOS first. Fun second.
Football, Politics, Literature, History, Science all come after that. In any order, dont care.
About the, “severed head of a pig thrown on the pitch. AGAIN” that was meant to be humorous.

Who are your top 3/4 favorites to win the World Cup 2026 now? I will go with mine.
In decreasing order
- Argentina (Heart wills it, Heads say no)
- France (Head says yes, Heart is ambivalent)
- Spain (I wanna see Argentina vs Spain in the final, but Head says will not happen)
- England (Another Hyped generation? It cant be? Can it be? Is it even possible?)
p.s.: I think a travesty was done when Cabo Verde was eliminated. They should have progressed at least to the semis. They were truly a wonderful team to watch.

The infantile Infantino should hand over the trophy to USA already before getting a new phone call and be done with it.
¡Adiós Copa Mundial 2026!
¡Hasta nunca!
Giannochio, poverino, back up your civilization before it gets wiped out. Remember 3-2-1 strategy!

Argentina will face Columbia in the quarterfinals. That will be a real test for them. I would love to see Spain to win it all this year. They’re young, talented and have shown their toughness.

Messi ganó. ¡Viva Maradona!
This is how the Quarter finals are shaping out to be. Argentina had a scare but managed to overcome a determined Egypt. Speaks volume about the team,
Columbia vs Switzerland was a snooze fest. Feel bad for Luis Diaz. He did not deserve this.
But what a Semi final it is going to be Argentina vs England. The Hand of god at play again?

Spain-Argentina still possible, then.
I’m still wondering, whether it’s a pattern: Put a German coach into an English team, like Klopp and Tuchel, and the English team performs quite well.
Put an English coach into a German team. Maybe the German team will start performing ![]()
I’ve not seen a defense as good as England’s in this final 8. Offense? Yeah. But defense, no.
