It will be a bit confusing at first, but will settle on one release every six months. This means that it can synchronize with Kubuntu, Fedora KDE etc.
I’m easy, don’t care what you call it (or when you release it), as long as what is released for general consumption is stable and doesn’t give a black eye to the DE.
I don’t think it’s at all important to sync with any release schedule for a distro, in fact, I’d call that a mistake.
