This is a non-critical experiment. Everything is working on my system. This is simply a nice-to-have that I am screwing around with because I am bored and including you guys cause I thought it would be fun.
Goal of the project: Send sound information from PC1 to PC2 to play on PC2’s speakers WITHOUT switching to PulseAudio. Sound should be nearly instantaneous. A low enough latency that delay is not detectable while gaming.
Secondary Goals: 5.1 Surround
Details:
Computer A and B are for the most part identical software-wise with the exception that B is currently on the LTS kernel. This can be changed if need be. Both are running EndeavourOS with Wayland and KDE Plasma as the DE. They are connected together via a 2.5gb network so bandwidth will not be a problem.
| Computer A Specs | Computer B Specs |

I am currently reading through this and this to figure out where to start though the first might be android specific.
Any thoughts or ideas before I get going? Know a better starting point? Let me know!
