Having problem setting up Network. Install went fine. Comes up without connection.
Welcome to the EndeavourOS forum. I hope you enjoy your time here.
I changed the category of your Topic to â'ARM - Installationâ.
Are you trying to set up an Ethernet connection or a WiFi connection ?
For an Ethernet connection, list the output of
systemctl status NetworkManager
gives you.
Also, what is the output of
ip addr
look like.
That should give us a start on where to look.

If it is not a problem, could you share the output here.
Drag your mouse cursor to highlight the output, then click âCopyâ
When composing your post, at the upper right is a Gear icon, click on it then click on

Space out the line âThis text will be hiddenâ then paste your output between the two bracketed lines. Then to make things easier, change [details=âSummaryâ] to something like [details=âNetworkManager outputâ]

The main thing we are looking for is something like
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/NetworkManager.service; enabled; preset: disabled)
Active: active (running) since Sun 2023-02-19 11:37:55 MST; 4h 56min ago
Saying NetworkManager is enabled and is active (running)
Do the same for the output of
ip addr

Having problems w. cutting/pasting on PbP. Cutting/Pasting not an option. Will have to type in.
Am on the âEndeavourOS ARM installerâ Page. I select Install Community Editions and I get
Calamares âThe system is not connected to the internet.â
used this link for the build:
https://github.com/endeavouros-arm/images/releases
I wonder if the one who released this image didnât include a WiFi hook-up?
The wifi drivers for the latest pbp are in the linux-firmware package. We also include the wifi driver for older firmware.
You are the first user having problems with network connection with our pbp images. We have not seen any issues so far.
How are you trying to connect to wifi? The network manager applet is given in the bottom right panel. Use that to connect to wifi
The only icon in the bottom right corner is the network manager. I select it and VPN prompt comes up. Do I need a VPN? No sign of the WiFi manager.
How do I R. click? Using pad on PbP (2 fingers donât work).
hit (not tap) the right bottom part of the pad
Didnât work. Hooked mouse up to USB⌠working now.
R.Clicked on Network and get âEdit Connectionsâ
âChose a Connection Typeâ
Wi-Fi
âEditing Wi-Fi connection 1â

How do I get this info? I am not a System Admin.
Found SSID on the modem. Will find the rest eventually
Did workâŚI wasnât tapping low enoughâŚneeded to tap almost on bezel.
Got it to workâŚmodem was the problem. Had to buy a new modem and it hooked right in to the Wi-Fi.
Thanks for all your help and putting up with me!
I am off to setting up the EndeavourOS. Really looking good.
