A photo I took in 2008, was wanting to see how it compared to the same originally RAW processed in 2008. Obviously I had different ideas regarding the crop. Which do you like better (the top is the newer crop from RawTherapee and the bottom was the original from either PhotoShop or Bibble (which became Corel AfterShot))?
A professional photographer once told me to frequently reprocess your RAWS because photographic software improves rapidly.

The 2nd look better imo. The first one as too much saturation for my taste.

Yeah, I always did overuse saturation :frowning:
However, it seems more detail is visible in the first, so maybe if I run it again and pull back on my saturation nob.

Nice fire-pit. Ours is the same . . . built with landscaping brick that is used in building terraced walls for raised gardens and the like. We have a propane gas burner inside of ours with volcanic pumice rock so it can be used then turned off. Typically the winds here are super high and flying ashes would be disastrous for nearby homes and plant life. We’ve been in a drought for the last 8 months and got about 1 inch of snow yesterday and last night. . . . .

Rich
