I took this picture in the Principality of Monaco, June 8, 2024. I guess they get a lot of American tourists, so…
We just had horrifying snow storm sweeping through the country yesterday. It snowed 20-30 centimetres snow in one sitting. I had to drive home in the worst part of the storm, at some parts of the motorway people were driving only little over 60 km/h.
It was rain for us yesterday

Yeah, I know what you mean. I hate shoveling snow.
Not from this winter, but a few winters past.
EDIT:
This was the morning of the third day of the snowstorm. I had just finished shoveling a path to the mail box and front door. The rest of the driveway still had the overnight snow.
Pudge
Plowed the snow from front yard. Luckily I plowed it also yesterday, when it was wet, so it was relatively easy task now.
Old habits are hard to break.
Now if only it was a Purple Penguin.
Not an photo, just a screenshot.
Within 5 days from almost 18°C and ~50% humidity. Down to -1.7°C last night with the major catch that it’s >90% humidity. In short, the wet cold permeates everything… Especially when windy as well.
That’s the major issue with the area where I live in. I’ld prefer -20°C with low humidity any day over that wet cold.
There used to be a cafe just up the road that also found rescue cats places that always had a few roaming around it and a cat run where others would be that where still not quite ready to be around people, they ended up moving a few suburbs over now to a much better location.
