"pgadmin4" is not responding

I installed pgAdmin4 from the official repositories. I’m unable to start it, an error message comes up, giving me the option to wait or force quit. None of the options respond, the message stays there, until I restart the system. Has anyone faced the same issue, or has a solution to start pgadmin4?

maybe not a solution, but an alternative: Use DBeaver
I switched to it when pgadmin3 was going EOL because pgadmin4 was a pain and DBeaver is way better, at least for my needs.
