Permission issue in Gnome EndeavourOS

IMG20210829163500

Hi, i am new to endeavouros
On my current enos setup i had only one user created
I am using gnome de

Note : plz check above image,
Owner - nothing (read/write)
Group - root (read only)

Is this normal
Arent it should display root as owner

How to fix this problem

Don’t edit the icon theme in /usr/share, your changes will be overwritten every time there is an update. Instead override it using the icon location in your home directory.

If your user account owned every file on the system that would be an enormous security problem. That file isn’t intended to be modified by the user.

Got it this folder is owned by root .aka super user

Not the user .aka me

I don’t generally use nautilus but that looks like it may be a bug to me.

~/.icons folder can be created .icons in your own folder and copy theme to there then edit
