Seems like paru-bin 1.9.2-1 was added to the endeavouros repo last several days.
I had been using paru from AUR for several months. Currently at 1.9.2-1
Today’s -Syu update introduces a conflict, as AUR is now at 1.9.3-1, and either yay or paru want to replace my paru 1.9.2 with parubin 1.9.2
If I try to replace it, I’m presented with these errors:
error: failed to commit transaction (wrong or NULL argument passed)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
→ error installing repo packages
I’ve got my weekly update to do, about 100 packages, and wanted to use paru 1.9.3 to kick it off.
I could clone the git repo, but I’d rather have paru managed correctly.
Thx

pacman -Ss paru-bin
endeavouros/paru-bin 1.9.3-1
Feature packed AUR helper
Wouldn’t it be possible to uninstall your current paru from AUR and then install the one from EnOS which is at 1.9.3-1 as well?
I’m no professional, and I’m honestly hardly even an amateur, but would it work if you did your system update now, and then let it resolve the conflict and then upgrading to 1.9.3 from the AUR so you can get the system update done now and then get the latest edition? I’m not completely sure but it might be worth a try.
Good luck bro.

I temporarily disabled the endeavouros repos, and did my upgrade. Then re-enabled the endeavouros repos. So I’m good.
Others who have paru from the AUR git will hit this when they update soon, however few we are.
Also, when I posted, the endeavouros mirror my paru was hitting was coming back with paru-bin 1.9.2-1. Perhaps other repos are more fresh.

Please show the contents of file /etc/pacman.d/endeavouros-mirrorlist
.
You could update it with eos-rankmirrors
.
AUR was also unreachable today…
