Pamac-all no longer has a maintainer

I just saw an announcement from FredBezies, maintainer of pamac-all that he has given up on pamac-all. is it still safe if i keep using it? because I still really need it

If it still works then it’s fine. You should review the PKGBUILD if and when a new maintainer adopts it.

How did you look at it the first time?

It’s in the AUR, https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pamac-all

How does this announcement affect the development of the pamac-aur-git package?

Not at all.

Thanks.

Recently there has been trouble after trouble with pamac. The problems were always fixed but the program was a real “pain.” As it is really a Manjaro program, and now that no one is maintaining it for EndeavourOS, I removed it from our computers and now, when I need to search for a program, I shall use bauh. This program works quite well; I understand that octopi works well also. Of course I realize that these are not “native” EndeavourOS programs but I believe that they are Arch programs and they are included in the AUR. By the way, I use the bauh program to search for applications but I always use the Terminal to install them.
