Pacseek error while loading shared libraries

How do i do that

(I m here for learning  )

You could pass the number of the package there instead of n.

I have git clone pacseek-git
makepkg -si
result is exit status 4

No, exit status 4

Removing old packages with yay -Scc doesnt give a result also.

Not sure then. Might be something with the packaging, I wonder.

I have the same Issue with pacseek. Have to wait for the maintainer to rebuild / update. I created a thread on the Garuda forums about another issue and during dealing with that noticed pacseek was having problems and mentioned it in that thread cause it seems it might be related.

Not sure what is wrong.

We have to wait again for @moson

have you considered pacseek-bin instead?

No, not yet. Can I just install it or do I have to delete pacseek?

I think you could!
If it conflicts, pacman will let you know.

pacseek builds fine here :man_shrugging:.

Arch Linux, fully updated.

It was updated this morning. I wonder what is wrong on my side.

It looks to build fine it’s just still pointing to the wrong version of one file, so no a simple rebuild will not work for all.

pacseek-binbuild it correctly and works as it should.

Weird, but it works now.

I’ll give the bin ago.

Do you have cleaned yay cache?

yay -Scc

Say no to the first two and yes to last

I don’t know why, but it works with pacseek-bin. Im glad. Using pacseek for mostly every install
