Pacman error preventing update

Yes, so far it’s a peek into a scratched glass ball. :crystal_ball:

Please run command

cat /etc/pacman.conf | eos-sendlog

and show the returned address here.

Thanks for replies. I feel bad taking advantage of the good will of this community when I have such limited access to the computer in question. I will try the suggestions mentioned when I have the chance, but the easy fix I was hoping for seems less and less likely. If it was a computer in front of me, I’d be real curious to find out exactly what is wrong, but since the installation was old, since it’s been a long time since a proper update could be performed, and since there are likely other problems lurking, I am also thinking of attempting a new EOS installation. Target is LXQt desktop, Japanese language, computer is an NUCi3 that’s a few years old.
At the download page I find only a link to the latest release listed as Endeavouros_Cassini_Nova-03-2023_R1.iso. This release looks like it has some very useful features, but “R1” makes me wonder if it is a stable release.
If I choose this route, if I encounter problems, I’ll make a new post and start a new thread so as not to create confusion. But I’m wondering if I need to anticipate problems with the “R1” release?

That is the stable release. That means it was updated since the initial release.

Since it is a stable release, we have decided to install the latest system. As the computer is not in front of me but 5 time zones away, I believe this will be the easiest and most enduring solution. We managed to create a bootable USB and I have also installed a Japanese version in VirtualBox to study. Unfortunately that doesn’t give me the opportunity to study systemd-boot, which is new to me, but I’ll research it elsewhere.
So just a final thanks to all who have contributed here,
Alama

try this

sudo pacman -S archlinux-keyring --overwrite '/usr/share/pacman/keyrings/*'
