Oh Google can you just <insert expletive> off!

My phone has started showing me old photos, via Google “Memories”, I stared at the photo, the fond memories came flooding back…

Never to be forgotten

It was the picture of a receipt for a malfunctioning piece of kit…

Turned off.

:Edit:

I only have 5 photos

  1. Picture of receipt from Argos (UK retailer).
  2. My passport (for NHS app proof).
  3. Somebodies feet - Might be mine.
  4. & 5. Pictures of things with really small writing so I can zoom and read

I use zoom on my camera to look at very distant objects and read distant signs. Small stuff at very close range (couple of cm from my face) I see just fine.

My problem is age related long sightedness, pretty common in men, distance is fine. Also developing cataracts :frowning: Nothing worse than getting old

Is that worse than a paper cut? I’d always been told “there’s nothing worse than a paper cut”.

I saw that when I was about 14.

It might be to blame for how I turned out .

I’ve got two brand new plastic lenses and two fresh cornea grafts (mine were getting cloudy). The vision upgrade is unbelievable! I can see color & fine detail again. My vision had degraded slowly over about 20 years so I didn’t understand how bad it was until after the surgery.
