(NVIDIA) KDE-Plasma freezes very frequently

Seems like a good choice, I’d probably have to reinstall for that

I was trying to use gwe to set a Temperate-Fanspeed curve and overclock my GPU if I wanted, it complain that NV-Cobtrol X extensions aren’t found

I had just sae this in the 570.124.04 MVDA driver changelog on their website, might take a while for software to be made to use it and solve the latter half of my problem

Have you tried the nvidia-open-dkms drivers?

You mean the first tab where normally shows all the info but now only the nvidia logo shows ? I have that on my Acer notebook. When i login to x11 everything does show up.

Yes, I had nvidia initially and replaced it with nvidia-open-dkms

Nothing changed and I think I might be better off with the that DKMS driver or nvidia-open (I have 2XXX+ so I should be fine)

KDE just performs terrible because my HDD is mounted to /home

Yep Nvidia settings shows me more info on X11, GWE now allows me to set Fancurves and power limits

I’ll re enable my GSP firmware (That I was told how to disable earlier for troubleshooting purposes) and see if I get better things going on X11
