NVIDIA GPU is not setup after installation AND nvidia-inst

I tried everything, and yet,

nvidia-smistill tells me “NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.”
Please, someone, help me.

a RTX 5070 Mobile (i’m on a laptop)

Nvidia changed the structure of their drivers and nvidia-inst has only just been updated for it. You may need to do an update before running it.

but it tells me that it runs vulkan-nouveau

Try manually installing the package nvidia-open-dkms with the command sudo pacman -Syu nvidia-open-dkms
