yep, strictly on i3 with lightdm (I installed sddm while troubleshooting this but then uninstalled it). No other DM or environment installed. I did install optimus-manager-qt though, but after installing optimus-manager my status bar is showing no tray icons besides the shutdown one, so optimus-manager-qt tray icon is not usable (yet)
So if there is no tray icon how do you switch it?
