Nvidia driver first reboot

packages will not differ on booting different kernels :wink:

But as you are using dkms version it will build modules for every installed kernel… so it could be it does currently not work on zen to build the module-- or it is not working when booting zen … you could check the output when of building modules when reinstalling it:
sudo pacman -S linux-zen and check the output to see if it may give error on building nvidia modules

I reinstall linux-zen check nvidia and no issue
I reboot on linux-zen and my sceen is blocked with this information

but you do not check the exact output of building modules… this would be what you should have shared here :wink:

ok

how can i do to display this information, i’m sorry but i m not an expert with command lines
PS: i boot on lts kernel

you can copy paste from the terminal output … and post here in code tags

I’m sorry, I feel like I’m wasting your time.

from reinstalling zen:
sudo pacman -S linux-zen

dkms status could give some info too about installed modules…

:: Pre-transaction-Hooks started…
(1/1) Remove upgraded DKMS modules
==> dkms remove --no-depmod vboxhost/7.0.4_OSE -k 6.1.2-zen1-1-zen

.....

(3/6) Install DKMS modules
==> dkms install --no-depmod vboxhost/7.0.4_OSE -k 6.1.2-zen1-1-zen
==> depmod 6.1.2-zen1-1-zen

this is not for nvidia module but it should show similar if it was running fine…
