Nvidia 495 "supported"

We have here also some gaming experts (I’m not…), so maybe you could start another thread here?

That would be a great Idea!
First I will record a video of both just wont starting/crashing so someone can at least get an Idea of what could have happened

I’m just pleased that it’s working for you now. As i say most others would not have gone through the process and gave up in frustration.

It doesn’t matter how long it is. It’s the result that matters! Ding Ding …we have a winner! :laughing:

It’s because you stuck with it. You didn’t give up and you didn’t get frustrated! :+1:

Edit: You worked through the process which at times went in circles but that’s how it goes!

Only because of you otherwise I would probably gave up and now I feel like I can solve any problem :joy:

I have an MSI X570 motherboard so i too am waiting on the latest Beta UEFI Bios update to go final and I’ll update it again.

I will 100% do the same if it releases

I’m just glad i noticed it had never been updated. 14 Bios updates is typical as i have done that many on both my Intel and AMD boards and I’m waiting for another currently that is in Beta for AMD. I’ve always been a big believer in updating the Bios\Firmware on many devices. This is one of the reasons I am not an lts kernel user. I don’t tend to jump to installing an lts kernel to fix an issue. I try to see what is the cause and sometimes it is hardware as opposed to the kernel. There is no guarantee that a Bios update will fix the issue no more than the lts kernel will. It depends on what is the root cause. I’m not an expert in this and looking at logs i tend to guess and use my own judgement. Sometimes you win…sometimes you lose! :laughing:

One never knows! :wink:

@Mixel
Just wanted you to know the 5.14.16 kernel is out with a bunch of other updates. Hope your system installs the new kernel and updates with nvidia and no issue booting.
