No Wifi connection at boot time, only after logging in

Hi there,

My EndeavourOS installation is okay, and I love it but there is one issue I am unable to solve:
My system do not have wifi connection after boot, only if I log in. If I log in, the wifi connects automatically and everything is fine. But if I just reboot, then no wifi. This is important because I sometimes want to use my computer remotely and if I have to reboot (or forgot to log in) I cannot connect.

I am not a linux and wifi expert but I do know that my system uses “networkmanager”
I catched the following message in the boot log:

NetworkManager[1289]: <info>  policy: auto-activating connection <Access point name> (89347832-08f1-42d4-9785-5cea1503ad30)
NetworkManager[1289]: <info>  device (wlan0): Activation: starting connection <Access point name> (89347832-08f1-42d4-9785-5cea1503ad30)
NetworkManager[1289]: <info> device (wlan0): state change: disconnected -> prepare (reason 'none', sys-iface-state: 'managed')
NetworkManager[1289]: <info> manager: NetworkManager state is now CONNECTING
NetworkManager[1289]: <info>  device (wlan0): set-hw-addr: reset MAC address to <MAC Address> (preserve)
NetworkManager[1289]: <info> device (wlan0): state change: prepare -> config (reason 'none', sys-iface-state: 'managed')
NetworkManager[1289]: <info> device (wlan0): Activation: (wifi) access point <Access point name> has security, but secrets are required.
NetworkManager[1289]: <info>  device (wlan0): state change: config -> need-auth (reason 'none', sys-iface-state: 'managed')
NetworkManager[1289]: <warn> device (wlan0): no secrets: No agents were available for this request.
NetworkManager[1289]: <info>  device (wlan0): state change: need-auth -> failed (reason 'no-secrets', sys-iface-state: 'managed')
NetworkManager[1289]: <info> manager: NetworkManager state is now DISCONNECTED
NetworkManager[1289]: <warn>  device (wlan0): Activation: failed for connection <Access point name>

So my issue is that I have no secrets when booting.

But after logging in there is another message but this time network manager says that “has security and secrets exist” and everything works fine.

I do not understand why there is a difference.

Any help, comments, etc are welcome and appreciated.

Try lts kernel with sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers
And boot with this lts kernel next time . See if it resolves the issue.

Maybe this can help you.
