No Sound after install

Installed OS-22-1 on a Dell 3910 -i512th -SSD512G dual boot with Win11 ; sound is ok with Win 11 ( preinstalled by Dell) ; I use an external speaker connected on rear port.
Sound card identified by Inxi is :
Device-1: Intel Alder Lake-S HD Audio driver: snd_hda_intel
Sound Server-1: ALSA v: k5.17.7-arch1-2 running: yes
Sound Server-2: PipeWire v: 0.3.51 running: yes
No sound at all even with media player or internet ; icon speaker indicate vol 73 %
Alsamixer seems normal : none MM .Even if i select dafult or hda intel soundcard , prblm remain…

What does

pacman -Ss pipewire | grep installed

say?

Could be simply wrong detecting default outputs or card on the level over Alsa … where we have pipewire and to say it simple pulseaudio also in a way wireing and piping everything together

I would bet you have pacucontrol installed and could check in the configuration tab what devices are listed and set on/off:

It could be you have more devices there and it is simply using the wrong one or it is disabled…

nothing

pavucontrol and pavucontol-qt are installed

Oups , after a restart of my speaker ( base with battery ) , all is working now …
thanks to all …and enjoy Endeavour

This is strange but then:
