I haven’t used my endeavour vm in a while. the fit guest was working, but then I update everything and it no longer works. The button is greyed out. I have tried reinstalling open-vm-tools and restarting the services. I have no issues with my fedora VMs. My host OS is endeavours ofc.

Do you have xf86-video-vmware installed? vmtoolsd is enabled and started?
I do have it installed and vmtoolsd is enabled and running.
I made a new VM and it works out of the box. Something with the update obviously broke open-vm-tools.
