No middle click, scroll is fine

i unburied a razer basilisk v3 from my brothers basement.

i decided to rehabilitate it and fix the buttons. tested on windows and the middle click is fine. in fact, it’s perfect. everything works fantastic.

when i plug it to linux, it does not work at all. the scroll does, but the middle click doesn’t.

the big side button and the dpi ones built on top also cause intermittent inputs. i can see when i press the big side one Num Lock activating and deactivating like crazy.

installed openrazer drivers, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue… changed and shuffled connection ports, not that either. poured 95% alcohol to dissinfect the wheel, naught.

i am fairly confident it is not a hardware issue…

Did a search for packages concerning razer and got this result maybe it will help.

had them installed, sadly.

There is al ist on this site of which mice are supported , maybe the model is to old to be supported ?
