Edit 2: Wow! I discovered that there was a /usr/lib/modprobe.d/r8168.conf file that contained one line: “blacklist r8169”. I commented it and rebooted several times. Wired ethernet now appears with each boot.

r8168 blacklists r8169 on install. that’s intended. I had that happen on Antergos also, has nothing to do with Endeavour.
