I can deal with orphans easily enough, what I am interested in is if there are packages there is a good idea to manually install / remove to “emulate” the new ISO…

To be clear the improvements are being made on the ISO and Calamares in particular, so it affects the way the system is going to be installed. The installed system will still be rolling with Arch.

All you have to do is use sudo apt autoremove.
