I’m testing Endeavour Cassini on a 10 year old HP Pavilion Notebook, should I expect any serious issues? before installing the OS.

Welcome to the forum! I have EOS installed on a Lenovo Thinkpad that is 11yrs old and I have no issue running Cassini.
Zero problems on a 13 years old Sony Vaio laptop. Cheers.
