New kernel no network

I’m new to Endeavour so it installed a new kernel this morning:
5.12.8-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri, 28 May 2021 15:10:20 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux
but theonboard network card doesn’t work. It did yesterday
Network: Device-1: Realtek RTL8125 2.5GbE vendor: ASUSTeK driver: N/A port: 4000 bus-ID: 02:00.0
chip-ID: 10ec:8125
Device-2: Realtek RTL8153 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter type: USB driver: r8152
bus-ID: 2-3.1.2:4 chip-ID: 0bda:8153
I do have usb adapter lingering on the desk so I can complain.
On ubuntu all flavours I can start with the older kernel but that didn’t seem to work.

Welcome to eos, gfx.

could do the trick realtek drivers are troublesome on archlinux.
this will generate driver modules against currently installed kernels for you.

Thanks for the tip.
I installed, yay, https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/r8125-dkms/
And it works again.
The r8152 is for most r815x cards but not the r8125

So, did you get your on-board working again or not? If so, please mark this thread as solved by marked your previous post as the solution. If not, please be more clear about that.
