I imagine if a change was to take place it would have to be a browser from the official Arch Repoā€™s. Only users should install applications from the AUR.

Firefox is best browser for Linux IMO. What does the default browser even matter, since everyone has to right to run whatever Chromium or Firefox skin they want?

Disgust-emoji from me was a bit harsh expression, because Brave is not bad unless you count the annoyances like crypto nonsense and ads. I just personally feel that fox runs better or Linux (might be just my hardware).

And yeah, Iā€™m not a fan of Mozilla when it comes to decisions and the advertising business. I just havenā€™t found any other better alternative, so I just keep drinking the poison I already have. :smiley:

I am not security expert or anything, these days Iā€™m just skeptical when I see promises of security and same time AI and crypto parts. But I guess every browser is made by living beings and they have to make their money somehow. And the same time, I personally appreciate Mozilla, because without them the Internet would be just Googleā€™s playground with 0 competition and monopoly is always bad thing.

Sorry for the long and confusing text. Iā€™m bit tired and canā€™t form beautiful text structures in english atm. :victory_hand:

Theyā€™re not the only one. Come on I know Iā€™m not the only one that sees the oxymoron in a browser that claims to be privacy centric AND has a ads rewards program.
