Capitalism is made for the top 1% of society where all the money goes and who own everything.
If you ****ing ****ers donât get back on topic, this ****** & ******* topic will be closed by the moderators.
This isnât a topic about Politics and has nothing to do with politics.
Politics isnât allowed for a reason. Not everyone shares the same views or ideaâs on what is right and wrong.
I personally think all Governments are a Joke.
Okay back on topic. If swear words are not allowed then I think censored swear words should not be allowed either because they still refer to the same swear words. Itâs not like censored swear words make them less offensive to anyone who doesnât like them or gets offended by them and it doesnât make them child friendly either because kids will eventually figured out what the censored versions really mean so might as well not use them at all then.
Feel free to submit a pull request that adds this option to the forum software:
There is no meaning to my **** above.
We all know youâre lying man. You sussy baka ![]()
Why would I need to do a pull request? The topic here was discussing of people having something against swear words and that is was suggested that censored swear words should be allowed. Iâm just giving my opinion on it that if normal swear words arenât allowed by the forum rules then neither should censored swear words. Both can be upheld by the forum moderators. I have nothing against swear words, why donât you suggest that to those who have something against swear words to put in a pull requests for a profanity filter for the forum software.
My understanding of the moderation tools that Discourse provide for forums includes applying a list of banned words, and that this does not cover ****. Therefore for **** to be banned, someone would need to write a patch to cover this. It would also need to be accompanied by a rationale as to how many consecutive * should be blocked.
Iâd held off from posting in this topic because I thought it was a waste of time. I should have listened to myself.
I didnât know that, thanks for sharing that information. Since that is the case if swear words are a problem for some people than the most logical option would be to enable the functionality of banned words for the EndeavorOS forum, which the forum mods or admins can do?
Theyâve already done that. It was what prompted this topic.
Thereâs already been an explanation regarding the implementation of banned words on the forum. I donât understand why this is even being brought up again in a topic. What is done is done and there were reasonâs for it. This topic is veering off into nonsensical views and politics and really is just turning into something unneeded so lets just call it a day here and move on.
