I need it for virtualization stuff.
But even when i install it with pacman, it says no presets found, and can’t do its thing…

I need to mkinitcpio -P for it to apply the configuration to the kernel (load the vfio driver for the GPU passthrough).
How do i fix this?
We use dracut instead of mkinitcpio. You can do similar things with dracut. mkinitcpio isn’t required for “Virtualization stuff”.
However, if you want to use mkinitpcio, that is also fine. If you are using systemd-boot, you need to install kernel-install-mkinitcpio from AUR and run sudo reinstall-kernels. If you are using grub, you need to reinstall your kernel packages.
I know it’s not required but i know the command for it, and didn’t know the alternative.
What’s the equivalent of mkinitcpio -P for dracut?

dracut-rebuild but if you installed mkinitcpio that would removed some of the dracut packages. It is likely not currently working.
If you use grub and install mkinitpcio, using pacman to reinstall your kernel packages should make mkinitcpio work.

Looks like it worked. You should keep both dracut and mkinitpcio installed. Pick one or the other and remove the one you aren’t keeping.
I removed mkinitcpio and mkinitcpio-busybox before running the dracut command. 
I suspected i shouldn’t have both. 
One last thing, the GPU passthrough steps i know how to do require to make a new vfio.conf file in /etc/modprobe.d with the IDs of the passed device. I also put a dependency so that vfio is loaded before amdgpu driver.
Anyway, this all works with dracut right? There’s no extra step needed here?
Grub is also already configured with the vfio IDs, so i should be good to reboot, right?
Hmm, ok, i rebooted, and the system booted normally, but amdgpu driver is loaded for the GPU whose ID i passed. Is there a different setup required for dracut?

That should be it. The devices loaded with the vfio-pci driver.
However, that’s not the solution for me because the iGPU i tried to pass is in a huge IOMMU group and i’d have to pass other stuff from there as well (that the system uses) in order for it to function.
Now i either have to find if i can isolate just the iGPU and its sound device, try the other GPU in the second slot again and pray it works, or do a single GPU passthrough, but that involves GPU BIOS dumping, or something, idk, i still haven’t gotten to that part.
