Hello! I recently attempted to install Endeavour OS and while doing, a mirror associated with the install process was flagged as malware: www.albony.xyz. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

First off, WELCOME! These are the best forums in the universe! Ugh, look what I did, brought up a Debian repository! Ack! LOL That said, I have not personally experienced or seen this. Hopefully someone will pop in with some information.

In what way was it flagged as malware? Where/how was that reported?

I’d like to know this as well. I’ve never heard of such a thing.
Was that an installation in a virtual machine, and your internet connetion uses a vpn?
The only thing I can think of is that the mirror changed address from www.mirror.albony.xyz to www.mirror.nag.albony.in, but it is forwarded automatically. Perhaps your firewall security settings are very strict and sees the forwarding as malware?
